Hello everyone,

I’ve been experiencing severe battery drain on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S21) over the past couple of weeks, and I’m struggling to find the root cause. The battery used to last a full day with moderate usage, but now it barely lasts 6–7 hours even with minimal activity.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Checked battery usage stats – The Android system and Google Play services are consuming more power than usual.
  • Disabled background apps – Restricted unnecessary apps from running in the background.
  • Cleared cache & data – Did this for Google Play Services and some frequently used apps.
  • Updated software – Running the latest Android version and security patch.
  • Safe mode test – Battery drain seems slightly better in Safe Mode, but not significantly.
  • Factory reset – I performed a full reset, but the issue persists.

A few things I noticed:

  • The phone gets slightly warm even when idle.
  • Battery drain is especially bad when connected to Wi-Fi.
  • "Android System" is using an unusually high percentage of the battery.

I also checked this: https://android-help...e-solution-for-golang-android-exploring-terabox-apk/

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Could it be a hardware problem, or is there something else I should check? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hello.

"The phone gets slightly warm even when idle" - probably it is a hardware problem.
