Game of Thrones Ascent — сочетание RPG и стратегии. Впрочем, будьте готовы и к тому, что играть в одиночку вам будет очень и очень непросто: большое внимание здесь уделено взаимодействию с другими игроками, и некоторые миссии можно пройти лишь сообща.

Многие задания — к примеру, по постройке сооружений или захвату новых земель — перекликаются с событиями сериала, что делает Game of Thrones Ascent особенно привлекательной для фанатов творения Мартина. Кроме того, разработчики обещают, что будут добавлять новые квесты и миссии сразу после выхода новых эпизодов телесериала, а также корректировать сюжет в соответствии с оригиналом, так что в однообразии игру не упрекнёшь.

К сожалению, жителям России укрепить своё влияние в Вестеросе будет не так-то просто: понадобится неплохой уровень владения  английским языком или переводчик: на данный момент русской версии игры ещё не существует. Впрочем, едва ли это удержит истинных фанатов, не так ли?
